Dr Sonia Sharma, Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist in PushpawatiSinghania Research Institute and hospital (PSRI), New Delhi. She has been trained in pediatric nephrology skills at AIIMS, New Delhi. During her training 3 years there, she took care of all variety of Pediatric Kidney Diseases & procedures like hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) & Renal biopsies. The chosen field has provided her with the continuous care to the infants suffering from kidney and related diseases. She has also been a part of fellowship programs, namely, Indian Society of Pediatric Nephrology and International Pediatric Nephrology Association. At present, she has been associated with ISPN and IAP (Delhi). She has handled many cases of nephrotic syndrome, Glomerulonephritis, Congenital kidney diseases, acute kidney injury and tubular diseases with great expertise. Also she has treated children with chronic kidney disease, children requiring dialysis and transplant. USG guided renal biopsies has been done with great care. Dr. Sonia Sharma has got best poster award for her work in nephrology in International Pediatric Nephrology Conference. She has published her work & articles related with childhood kidney diseases in national and international journals.
